1. Who you are agreeing with

Stockport (stockport.app and the app at app.stockport.app) is run by Vikas Chandrawat, an individual based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (“we”, “us”). When you use Stockport or buy a plan, these terms are an agreement between you and him.

Payments are processed by Razorpay; the merchant you pay is Vikas Chandrawat. You can reach us at vikas@stockport.app.

By signing in to Stockport or buying a plan, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be 18 or older to use Stockport.

2. What Stockport is, and is not

Stockport is not a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser under the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013. Nothing on this platform — including articles, tool outputs, XIRR/TWRR calculations, behavioural analysis, or any other content — constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a solicitation of any investment. All content is educational and informational only. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions.

Stockport is a journal for investors in Indian equities. You write your thesis, claims, notes and reviews for each stock, keep your trades beside them, and see how your portfolio has done. The coach in Stockport asks questions and points at what you wrote; it never researches a stock for you or tells you what to buy or sell.

3. Your account

4. Plans and payment

Stockport has three plans. Every plan includes: Track unlimited stocks · Full tradebook import and performance report · Live P&L and XIRR · Results-day alerts for your stocks.

PlanPriceYou can write in
Free₹03 stock stories
Hobby₹1,499 / year10 stock stories
Pro₹2,399 / yearunlimited stock stories

5. Active stock stories

Plans differ only in how many stock stories you can write in.

A stock story is everything you think about one company: your thesis, claims, notes and quarterly reviews, with your trades beside them. Each company has one story, kept for good. A story is active from the first thing you write in it until 12 months after the last.

A story counts once you write in it (a thesis, a note or a claim) and for 12 months after your last entry. Adding a stock, importing trades and reading never count.

When a paid plan ends, nothing you wrote is deleted and everything stays readable. You choose which of your active stories stay writable within the limit of the plan you are on.

6. Refunds and cancellation

Full refund within 7 days of a payment, no questions asked.

The full policy is on the Cancellation & refunds page.

7. Delivery

Stockport is an online service. Nothing is shipped: there are no physical goods, no shipping charges and no delivery address. A plan shows on your account within minutes of Razorpay confirming your payment, on every device you sign in on. If it is not there within 30 minutes of a successful payment, email vikas@stockport.app with the payment ID and we will add it or refund you in full.

More on the Shipping & delivery page.

8. Founding-member plans

We may grant a lifetime Pro plan to founding members at our discretion. It carries no fee, belongs to the person it was granted to, and cannot be transferred or sold.

9. Your content

Your theses, claims, notes, reviews and trades are yours. You allow us to store and process them only to run Stockport for you — for example, to show them back to you, to calculate your performance, and to send the text of a thesis or note you submit to our AI provider so it can suggest claims (see the Privacy Policy). We don’t sell your content or use it for advertising.

To get a copy of your data or to have your account and its data deleted, email vikas@stockport.app from the address you sign in with. We do it within 30 days.

10. Acceptable use

You may use Stockport for your own investing records and learning. You agree not to reverse-engineer or scrape the platform, submit malicious data, use it for any unlawful purpose, try to compromise its security, or use someone else’s account.

11. Intellectual property

Stockport’s articles, frameworks, design and code belong to us. You may share links freely. You may not reproduce, republish or resell them without written permission. Your own content stays yours (section 9).

12. Numbers, prices and their limits

Performance, P&L and XIRR figures depend on the trades and holdings you enter or import being complete and correct. Prices come from third-party market data sources and can be delayed, missing or wrong. Corporate actions such as splits, bonuses and mergers are applied as best we can and may be approximate. Every figure is a calculation on past data, not a prediction.

The free XIRR vs TWRR Calculator on stockport.app has the same limits: its results depend on the tradebook you upload and on third-party price data.

13. Changes to the service

We may add, change or remove features. If we change what a paid plan includes in a way that reduces it, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.

14. Ending your use

You can stop using Stockport at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing vikas@stockport.app. Refunds follow section 6. We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 10, and will tell you why.

15. Limitation of liability

Stockport is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any investment losses, for decisions you make based on anything in Stockport or its articles, for inaccuracies caused by incomplete or wrong data, or for any indirect, consequential or incidental damages arising from your use of Stockport. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If a change matters for paying users, we will tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Stockport after a change means you accept the updated terms.
